Preliminary estimates

An area-based or preliminary estimate is a planning figure. It helps you decide whether a project is feasible; it is not an offer and not a contract.

Detailed quotations

A detailed quotation is issued in writing with a quotation number, validity period, contract value, material specifications, scope of work, exclusions, payment schedule and terms. Only that document, once accepted in writing, defines what is included.

Changes

Changes to design, specification, quantity or site conditions after acceptance are handled as variations and are priced separately.

Validity

Prices are subject to material and labour rates at the time of quotation and are valid only for the period stated on the quotation.
